Still hoping for spring

After a quick but heavy hit of snow, it’s looking more like spring again, but we’re wondering if it will last this time. There were still patches of snow when I went to town this afternoon, though most of it’s gone. There are buds …

and little leaves …

and catkins …

The amaryllis seems to have stopped at about 24″ and turned out to have 4 buds 🙂 Love the red!

Hope everyone has a happy holiday – we’ve got company coming, so I’ve been cooking and getting ready.

  1. I imagine your free moments are few and far between. Happy Easter, Dear Friend. I do believe we might go from winter to summer this year. It’s supposed to be in the 30’s next week.

  2. Love your photos of coming Spring! We’re getting a little melt started and spirits are improving!

  3. Yay! I went out exploring “our” signs of spring yesterday in the evidence of cute little bison babies. Saw one 1 hour old…so cute. I love your buds and blossoms.
