Knitting, spinning, pets, food and other thoughts

This was the view through the window this morning, and it made me glad that we didn’t have to go anywhere, though at least the ice was just on the trees, not on the roads. It seemed like a great day for a nice warm casserole, so some of the leftover turkey, plus sauce, green chilis, tortillas and cheese went from this

to this, which will be even better tomorrow πŸ˜›

Here’s our Thanksgiving group – I think Toby left after about the first or 2nd photo.

  1. Love the family pic. The casserole looks like a killer (in a very very good way) and yes, I believe winter is here. It was 23 this morning when the boy and I went out for our walk.

  2. That turkey casserole looks AMAZING. I am craving Thanksgiving day leftovers and might have to have someone cook up a turkey for the sole purpose of making deliciousness like this!

I hope it was as yummy as it looks!

    Stay warm!

  3. Never cared for casseroles whilst growing up, but my mother made every type imaginable (large family), but today, they seem to be the best comfort food, full of good taste and good memories. Your T-day group is all smiles!
