Knitting, spinning, pets, food and other thoughts

We thought spring had sprung around here—now it looks like we were overly optimistic. Some of these will probably survive the mistreatment, but I noticed a couple of magnolias that were gorgeous a couple of days ago and are now completely brown.

Clockwise from top right: Forsythia, quince, ferns, coneflower heads, redbud.

However, there’s someone here who enjoys the snow 🙂

  1. good laugh…looks like Toby had no issues with the weather situation at all.

  2. That’s so cute that Toby revels in the snow. Sad about the flowers and forsythia. We didn’t get the snow this time although it is plenty cold enough to snow (25 F this morning). Spring will come…I KNOW it!

  3. I love the shot of Toby. What a great feeling to just run flat out in the snow! I haven’t seen the magnolias, yet. Hope I don’t, either.
