Wool Day 2010

Saturday was Wool Day at our friends’ farm – I always look forward to spending some time with fiber friends in such a lovely and peaceful (mostly, except when the peacock screeches!) spot. This year the sheep, goats and llamas had wandered off, so I didn’t get pictures of them.

We’ve been making progress in the CZ (Construction Zone), in fact it’s starting to look much more like a house, with painted walls (some touch-ups from construction dings needed), flooring and even cabinets in the kitchen. The base molding is here, it’s been stained and has at least 1 coat of sealer on it. Friday we went looking for some stools for the breakfast bar and not only found those, but a matching dining table (2 self-storing leaves) and chairs πŸ™‚

  1. Next year!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the table and chairs. You can entertain your entire family at that table!!!

  2. Wool Day looks like a blast! The table will be great. I like the trestle style as no one has legs to bump into.

  3. Painted walls? Touchups? Now you’re really making unreasonable demands.

I’d like to go to a Wool Day, or maybe even a Wool Weekend. It looks like a great getaway. (This is where my DH asks “from what?”)
