Birds and other things

The hummers haven’t let the construction uproar keep them away from the feeder that’s hanging in the redbud tree. They’ll be heading south before too much longer, but I’m enjoying them while they’re still here.

Wiring is being done – I ended up on top of this ladder yesterday, pulling 3 strands of large wire up from the basement, and pushing them over towards the original part of the house. Pulling wire and standing on ladders aren’t high on my list of favorite activities, but progress is good πŸ™‚

  1. Just to get it done, right? Love your hummers.

  2. I am enjoying the hummingbirds also. It will be sad to see them leave for the winter. They are very entertaining!

  3. Pretty birds! Top of ladders and wires? Yikes. πŸ˜€ Hurray for progress.
