or at least it seems that way, since our recent visitors included 2 standard poodles. Toby loved the company, but the cats weren’t too sure about them at first. By the end of the visit some peaceful nose sniffing was taking place, and Amber didn’t zap anyone.
Walter and Stella both know what loading up means, and they wanted to be sure they weren’t left behind, which probably slowed things down somewhat. In the middle of all the bustle, a wren landed on the handrail by the back door long enough for me to snap a photo.
These are the last 2 swatches in this round of yarn doodling. The color came out better in the photos than with the scanner. I like the patterns and I like the yarns, but I’m not sure they’re ideal matches for each other. More research may be needed 🙂

I have a Carolina wren and adore her/him/it. You must have had a full house. Thank goodness the weather cooperated today and yesterday (afternoon).
