Joyknits!

Knitting, spinning, pets, food and other thoughts

More spring

Having shipped another stealth knitting project (whew!), I grabbed a camera and headed for the woods again, accompanied by my trusty canine buddy (note to self: dog on leash doth NOT make the picture-taking easy!). It was a beautiful afternoon, we had a nice outing, Toby took every possible opportunity to wade in the creek and came home quite damp, but happy 🙂

Spider webs; dandelion; bloodroot; sassafras; dogwood; hornbeam catkins.

In addition to lots of knitting, there has been spinning—I started on the purple/blue roving and it’s really delightful to spin (like buttah!). No idea what it will be when it grows up, except 2-ply, fairly fine, and probably eventually lacy.
