Even though I was well prepared, we didn’t have any visitors on Halloween, which leaves us with more candy than we really need to have sitting around
I think now everyone either takes kids to town to trick or treat, or to arranged events. It’s probably safer overall, but I do miss getting to see the littler ones in their costumes.
After our long run of wet weather throughout October, I loved having an intensely colorful sunset on Friday. It was beautiful through one of the new entry doors, or all on its own!

Pretty door and lovely colors! We didn’t have any trick or treaters at our house but I didn’t buy any candy either. We raid the change jar for treats.
I do miss the extra chocolate though.

Two gorgeous fall days in a row. Can you stand it?

Fabulous sky pictures, and fabulous door! We’re lucky enough to live in a cul-de-sac neighborhood with lots of kids, but we still had quite a bit of candy left over. It’s almost impossible to get it just right.

lovely pictures. I didn’t get any trick-or-treaters either. More chocolate for me.

That’s my front door, too! Seriously, it is the same one. Autumn shares the most lovely sunsets and your photographs capture a beautiful one.
